Here are some phrases that you should NOT use:

  • “Ok bye.”
  • “See you later.”
  • ” I have to go to the bathroom.”

 

Here are some phrases to get out of the conversation:

  • “Ya know what? I really gotta get going.”
  • “I’d love to hear more but I gotta run.”
  • “I have to be somewhere.”
  • “It was great talking to you but I want to talk to someone else over there.”
